The DOE’s Office of Technology Transitions (OTT)’s Technology Commercialization Fund (TCF) leverages R&D funding in the applied energy programs (the Offices of Electricity, Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, Fossil Energy, Cybersecurity, and Nuclear Energy) to mature promising energy technologies with the potential for high impact. Funds are matched with funds from private partners.
$17.3M – $20.4M is expected to be available for this year’s Base Annual Appropriations National Laboratory call, titled Core Laboratory Infrastructure for Market Readiness, which includes Technology Specific Partnerships (Topic 4), i.e., projects for commercializing Lab-developed intellectual property.
