Kristin is responsible for drafting, negotiating, and executing non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), material transfer agreements (MTAs), inter institutional agreements, and intellectual property management plans for all technologies. She has an extensive background in both patent drafting and prosecution and license negotiation; in areas such as biochemistry, electrical engineering, semiconductors, RAM and ROM memory, telecommunication, sensors, medical devices, and software.  She has worked for law firms such as Orrick and Squire Patten & Boggs.  She had her own firm, representing companies that included Actel Coporation, Cisco, Apple, Abbott Vascular Systems, West Corporation, Alcatel Lucent and Synopsys Inc.
