Aeroseal, a Miamisburg company that has licensed a Berkeley Lab’s duct-sealing technology developed by Mark Modera and Duo Wang, is continuing its hiring surge. With clients in 50 states and more than two dozen countries, the company increased its headcount by more than 60% last year and plans to create about 47 new jobs this year to accommodate a surge in global demand for its products.
According to CEO Amit Gupta, leaky ducts in HVAC systems are one of the largest causes of energy inefficiency in U.S. homes, and Aeroseal’s technology offers a solution to that problem.
