Nnamdi is deeply committed to the Lab’s mission of delivering science-based solutions to the world. He manages intellectual property licensing and supports the commercialization of
research tools and technologies across the Biosciences Area. He also contributes to the development of streamlined protocols for post-license compliance within the biotechnology and
bioengineering portfolios.Before joining Berkeley Lab, Nnamdi was a senior invention associate at Northwestern University’s Innovation and New Ventures Office, where he managed the commercialization of a diverse portfolio comprising diagnostics, therapeutics, medical devices, and research tools (transgenic mouse models, cell lines, and antibodies). He also assisted scientists and clinicians with startup formation and development.
Before joining Northwestern, Nnamdi was a postdoctoral scholar at the UCSF Diabetes Center and served as a Business Development Analyst and Catalyst Program intern at UCSF Innovation Ventures.
