New startup Lexington Biosciences exclusively licensed the Berkeley Lab Enegevity Cuff, a technology to dramatically advance the testing and monitoring of cardiovascular health. NDA / MTA Request Process is Changing

Starting Jan. 25, requests for nondisclosure agreements (NDAs) and material transfer agreements (MTAs) must be made through the Innovation Portal. This faster, paperless, more transparent system presents the status of submitted requests as well as approved agreement records on the requester’s home page. The Innovation and Partnerships Office is holding training sessions in January.    

NIH/SBIR Workshop Starts Jan. 20 in Berkeley

Heliotrope, a startup based on electrochromic smart window technology developed at Berkeley Lab, is one of six early stage, energy efficiency tech startups selected to receive technical and business assistance to advance commercialization through the $10M Wells Fargo Innovation Incubator, IN2  administered by DOE’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL).
